Privacy Policy

Overview

RD Catching (“we,” “us”) provides private catcher training and lesson booking. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Information we collect

When you book a lesson or event, we collect:

• Player information: first and last name, age, and team
• Parent/guardian information: name, email address, and phone number
• Booking details: lesson type, date, time, location, and price

Coaches who create an account additionally provide a name and email address, and may optionally connect a Google Calendar (see below).

How we use this information

• To schedule, manage, and provide the training sessions you book
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, reschedule/cancellation notices, and occasional announcements about the business (e.g. schedule changes) by email
• To respond to questions sent to us directly

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Google Calendar access

A coach may choose to connect their Google Calendar so that their own booked lessons appear on it automatically. If connected, we use this access solely to create, update, or remove calendar events that correspond to that coach's own lesson bookings on this site.

We do not read, view, or share any other event on a coach's calendar, and this access is never used for advertising or any purpose unrelated to displaying that coach's own bookings. A coach can disconnect this access at any time from their dashboard, or directly through their Google Account's security settings.

How we protect your information

• All data, including Google Calendar access tokens, is stored with Supabase and encrypted both in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
• Google Calendar access and refresh tokens are stored only on our servers and are never exposed to a web browser or any client-side code — only our server uses them, and only to create, update, or delete that coach's own calendar events as described above.
• Coach dashboards, and any access to client or booking information, require signing in to a password-protected coach account. Parent and player information is never publicly accessible.
• Disconnecting Google Calendar from a coach's dashboard immediately deletes their stored access tokens from our systems.
• We retain information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, and delete it on request (see Contact us).

Third-party services we use

• Supabase — securely stores booking and account data
• Resend — delivers the transactional emails described above
• Google Calendar API — syncs a connecting coach's own bookings, as described above

Each of these services only receives the information necessary to perform its specific function for us.

Children's information

This site is used by parents and guardians to book lessons on behalf of their children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children; all player information is submitted by a parent or guardian.

Data retention and deletion

We retain booking and client records for normal business purposes, such as scheduling history and records. If you'd like your information corrected or removed, contact us using the details below.
